Morning coffee in Korea.

Aeropress + Hario Slim Mill + Tonx coffee = best coffee for traveling.

Morning brew: pour-over with the Hario V60 made with Colombia Cauca from Tonx Coffee.

Made this in my DORM, thanks to my new stovetop steamer and the Mypressi. Very exciting.

Staying up late just got more fun.

For me, every other Wednesday is a holiday. I like to call Tonxday.

It’s when I receive a 12 oz. bag of beautifully sourced and roasted beans from Tonx, a company that only sells coffee by subscription.

The worst part is checking my mailbox every hour to see if my coffee’s arrived.

The best part is opening up the package, reading the notes that they include with each shipment, and burying my nose into the silver bag, taking a huge whiff of the deliciously complex coffee.

This one was a Bambu Bourbon coffee from El Salvador. It tasted great in a latte; I can’t wait to try it in a pour-over. 

Not bad, but I need to get better at pouring milk into larger cups (like this one) instead of a 6 oz. cappuccino cup.

How I make espresso drinks in my tiny dorm: with a Mypressi Twist, a Hario MiniMill Slim, and some damn good Tonx coffee.
