These are efforts to find my aesthetic.

Midtown East, on Lexington and 55th, is home to one of the most charming coffee shops in Manhattan.
Little Collins is a slice of Melbourne in New York; they’re rocking Counter Culture coffee, and the first Modbar in the city. Probably one of the best places in New York to get flat whites and piccolos, and solid food options to boot. The crew is also one of the most pleasant I’ve encountered, easy on both the eyes and ears (last time I checked, there were baristas from Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa).
I’ve had nothing but good experiences here, and if you’re ever in the specialty coffee desert that is Midtown, check them out; they’ll treat you right.

Happy 4th, everyone.
