I can’t believe I was in such a beautiful place yesterday.

Unreal. UNreal.

Today, I climbed Mount Ampersand (this thing [&] is an ampersand) with a handful of my CoOp friends and St. Lawrence kids.

It was the. Best. Thing. Ever.

The snow and ice made the climb a challenge, but the summit was SO BEAUTIFUL.

It was an amazingly clear day, and we could see the peaks and peaks of the Adirondack Mountains, all coated in a dusting of snow. The lakes, the trees, all had a light cover of white. 

And the best part was the downhill, because we slid down on our butts over snow and ice for a good 2 miles.

Because sometimes you just need to skip along a leaf-strewn path.
