La Colombe, Nolita.
Not a great coffeeshop; the beans are roasted dark, the espresso isn’t distributed, and grouphead isn’t flushed before extraction. The ceramicware is grimy, and the milk isn’t textured well; they give off the overall feeling of being a little bit gritty and a tad haphazard.
They’re a popular micro-chain though, and the interior is nice.
Ritual Coffee’s Columbia on V60, cortado, and croissant at Sweetleaf in LIC.
The good vibes and great coffee were definitely worth the trek out here.

A unique store, that was beautifully designed, tastefully arranged, and easy to take pictures of.
A space too cool for me, I think, although Sean fit right in.
Worth a trek, for sure, if you’re into the artsiest of surf magazines, good coffee, menswear, or all of the above.

I’ve fallen in love with this space, and with this table in particular.
