Coffee Arco in 가로수길.
A stone’s throw away from Coffee LEC, I would recommend the former if you had to choose between the two. The space and lighting is better here, and it would be ideal for conversing, or whiling away the hours by yourself. The shot I had, however, was overly roasty, with only the barest hints of fruit coming through.

Stained with many a coffee spill, with espresso grounds in every nook and cranny, it’s high time to give these guys a good scrubbing.

Nel drip at Blue Bottle Coffee.
Brewed through a cotton filter with a high coffee-water ratio, resulting in an extremely clean, almost underextracted brew.

Barista and manager of Cafe Moulfanso in Turin (respectively).
To be frank, Italian coffee isn’t that great. They roast and extract old school, without much regard for origin and characteristics of individual crops.
But the atmosphere of this place, with its dark, wood-panel ceilings and mirrored walls, could not be beat.
