Around the corner from where I work, this is another beautiful space with great food and great drinks. I like the Nathaniel Moore - you tell the bartender what your favorite spirit is, and he’ll whip up an off-menu, custom cocktail for you. In the summer, I enjoyed a gin and cucumber drink, garnished with sea salt and black pepper.
They also have one of the coolest bathrooms in New York City. You’ll know what I mean when you see it.
October is over, and so officially begins the holiday season.
Everything wonderful about fall - briskness of air, coziness of the indoors, tight-knit communities - is only about to intensify this coming month.
I welcome it with open, wool-clad arms.
