New camera: Contax G2 (i.e. the Automatique).

A 35mm rangefinder with an all Zeiss system. Bigger than my Nikon FM, but lighter; fully automatic exposure, focus, and advance, making this the ultimate street camera. The viewfinder is dark and tunnel-like, so I have a hard time taking this camera seriously.. It feels like a toy camera, and I end up taking lots of pictures while my film gets eaten up. But this pictures come out tack-sharp, and I’m already in love with my first roll from this camera.
