To make up for the Rolleiflex TLR that he lost, my uncle gave me his entire photography kit that he used when he was a grad student. A Nikon FM, 2 lenses, 11 filters, a bag, a case, 2 camera straps… It’s a solid kit for 35mm photography. I still prefer 120 film, but 35mm provides an economical break from the square, 6x6 composition. I’ll be shooting with this for a while; it feels really good in my hands, and I’m digging the fast 50mm lens (f/1.4!).
