At the first sign of a scratchy throat, a cough, a sneeze, consume as much citrus as humanly possible.
Early mornings in the kitchen.
Just lines in the snow.
Still not quite over the light in my living room.

Morning brews, morning blues.
She’s a funny one.
satisfymiisoul asked: what are your favorite lenses to shoot with and if you had to choose only two of your cameras, which would they be?
Any 50mm lens for 35mm camera, or 80mm lens for a MF camera - so you can shoot the world the way you see it. And a wide angle (28mm for my Contax) to give a sense of place and story.
I love medium format - my Pentax 645 is my go-to these days when I want composed, stable images with a crisp focus and complete control. It gives me 6x4.5 images, more friendly than the 6x6 of a lot of medium format cameras.
And my Contax G2 - it’s an autofocus, auto-exposure camera, but with the Carl Zeiss lenses you’d think I shot on 120 film. It’s a point and shoot, but one of the best you can get. It’s a camera for fun times and spontaneous moments.
