Details in the Glen.
This place is a sigh of relief, a pause, a walk at a different pace.
It is beautiful in every season, but fall is when you truly smell the earth, feel the crunch of leaves underfoot.
I’ve spent many an afternoon here, and found much inspiration in the swaying trees and the worn paths. It was comforting to be back in the timelessness of the forest surrounding Hamilton.

The farm, almost ready for hibernation through the winter months.

I visited school a few weeks ago.
Jarringly different, people had moved while I stayed put. New faces, new names, amongst familiar ones.

Weekday drinks are becoming a regular thing, and I have no problems with it.

Smith and Mills, in Tribeca.
Around the corner from where I work, this is another beautiful space with great food and great drinks. I like the Nathaniel Moore - you tell the bartender what your favorite spirit is, and he’ll whip up an off-menu, custom cocktail for you. In the summer, I enjoyed a gin and cucumber drink, garnished with sea salt and black pepper.
They also have one of the coolest bathrooms in New York City. You’ll know what I mean when you see it.

Cupping at Cafe Libre.
We only cupped three coffees : a Kenya, a Costa Rica, and an Indonesia, but it was one of the most educational cuppings I’ve been to.
The coffee community in Korea is still unpresumptious and welcoming, definitely very different than that in New York.
